We have seen many organizations adopt Agile and DevOps tools and methodologies in a way that is setting themselves up for failure. Business expectations are never met and goals are not achieved. Agile and DevOps improve delivery velocity but can compromise quality and fail to improve end to end delivery - or even worse, harm the business.
Agile and Devops need to explicitly consider quality throughout the delivery process. Many companies wait until a production failure before considering how Agile and DevOps adoption will address quality - and then it is too late.
